Hello, dear readers of the KtoNaNovenkogo.ru blog. If you use social networks or play online games, you've probably come across this tricky abbreviation. As well as many others that I have already written about (denoting malicious laughter LOL, mocking laughter “kek”, evidence “proof”).
In youth slang (what is this?), ChSV has gone wild in earnest. They use it left and right. Trying to offend , they may write you an unpleasant comment with these three letters; you feel that they want to tease you, but there is no full understanding of what this means and how best to respond.
Common situation? Let's get out of an uncomfortable situation together, especially since these three cheerful letters can be applied to you and it makes sense to look at yourself and your behavior without rose-colored glasses.
Decoding
Let's start with the main thing - the interpretation of the mysterious “ChSV” - how these letters are deciphered among young people.
Self-esteem is a Sense of Self-Importance. There is another meaning of these letters - some believe that CHSV means the Feeling of One's Own Greatness. This option also fits the meaning of “ChSV”.
Behavior with emotional distress is typical of teenagers, sometimes more mature people suffer from this, but such people are not very respected in society. This abbreviation of words is translated as a sense of one’s own greatness, so it’s not difficult to guess how people with CHF behave.
People with this characteristic rarely think about the feelings, needs and sensations of others; they are only interested in their own importance. In common people, such individuals are simply called egoists.

ChSV
and
self-esteem
(pind. self-esteem) are related concepts, but not identical.
Self-esteem
is the value that an individual attributes to himself or to his individual qualities.
It is curious that in these USA, high self-esteem is fiercely, furiously forced into fragile brains at least from primary school age. Moreover, there are standards and tests, so that a Pindos schoolboy caught with low self-esteem risks being subjected to forced sessions with a psychologist. The opposite phenomenon - inflated self-esteem
(even the term itself is non-canonical) is not considered a problem (except among Christians, but they often don’t give a fuck), the more the better, until it interests a psychiatrist.
The main signs of CVS
Why is ChSV used specifically in youth style? Because an enhanced, sometimes pathological sense of self-importance begins to noticeably manifest itself in adolescence, then for some it continues further.
At this age, teenagers strive to win the recognition of others and the favor of their peers at any cost. Therefore, they begin to behave defiantly and attract attention with their behavior. This behavior helps them become sought-after, popular, and authoritative in the eyes of their surrounding classmates.
Teenagers with high CVS (SNVshniki) often “fly off the rails”. They flirt, becoming more and more vain, selfish, and because of this - conflicting. Many adults and self-respecting people cannot stand this behavior; they try hard to put teenagers “in their place,” sometimes in a not very humane way, which leads to the suffering of these same teenagers. Such a vicious circle...
At first it seems that “the dude is cool” or “the dude is cool,” but, taking a closer look, you can see a lot of negativity that all participants in communication with a teenager who has an inflated emotional state receive.
It is not difficult to determine a person’s emotional distress, especially among young people; they have similar behavioral signs:
- arrogance;
- demonstrating your intelligence and uniqueness;
- perception of oneself as the “coolest” person;
- demonstration of one’s absolute rightness;
- the desire to say the final word;
- judging others.
Such teenagers find it difficult to control their emotions if someone hurts them. At the same time, they sometimes behave adequately in society and can be quite responsible until their own crown finally puts pressure on the brain.
View of a person with high heart rate
Self-esteem (SSD)
HRV is aimed exclusively at external values: recognition in society, wealth, expensive branded items, thirst for flattery, praise and awards. In turn, self-esteem – self-esteem – is a manifestation of one’s internal self-sufficiency. Such value can be formed solely on the basis of an objective understanding of one’s own pros and cons, victories and failures, growth areas in a particular area. In other words, this concept runs counter to narcissism (inflated HRV).
Why is it dangerous?
And everything would be fine, but such young people have no idea that they waste time fooling themselves and those around them, instead of choosing real development.
Considering yourself “super old”, you can amuse your sense of self-importance by convincing others of your advancement. But along with this, internal conflicts and dependence on the opinions and judgments of others are acquired. Whether it’s good or bad to be an emergency person is something everyone determines for themselves. There are situations when it would be possible to increase this feeling a little. But it is better to base self-affirmation and adequate communication with others on the development of emotional intelligence and increased self-esteem, and not on emotional distress.
A person with CVS himself buys into his own deception. This feeling replaces a healthy self-perception with a popular fake. He begins to believe in his stardom, eventually driving himself into a state of neurosis. You can endlessly convince others of your coolness, but having faced your fears head-on, a person “turns into zero.”
Normal development occurs when a teenager accepts himself as he is, without inventing anything unnecessary. Only by knowing his strengths and weaknesses can he actively develop and not be fooled by the image of a “cool” fake.
Becoming a ChSV in adolescence is a great temptation, because every schoolchild between the ages of 11 and 15 wants to shout to the whole world how cool he is, but everyone underestimates him. Therefore, THINK: do you really deserve by your deeds to be praised by everyone, is everyone really such a “sucker” that you treat everyone arrogantly, even your parents?
Example from life
Now in my social circle there are no people with an inflated sense of self-importance. But there was a moment when I was in close contact with a girl whose sense of self-importance was very clearly expressed. It was simply impossible to communicate normally with her. It all came down to discussing what had happened or was happening to her, her achievements, successes or problems. She always interrupted other people's words. It turns out that during the meeting we had to listen to a monologue. And if someone tried to tell something about themselves, the girl would immediately interrupt him, turning the conversation either to another topic or to herself. The latter happened more often.
The most interesting thing is that in fact this girl has never achieved anything in life. Moreover, despite her sociability and apparent friendliness, over time, many friends and acquaintances limited or completely stopped communicating with her. They were simply tired of constantly listening to her stories about herself.
Where can you find the abbreviation CHSV
Judging by the fact that I myself recently found out who the CSV person is, this abbreviation is not found at every step. So let's look at where you can meet her.
Among young people
Some of you might do what I did and go to Wikipedia and read up on what this concept means. But after reading this article, I think you will no longer need to do this.
The abbreviation is often found on VK, a youth social network. It is not difficult to understand that the person you want to meet has this feeling. To do this, just look at what statuses and phrases he publishes, what points he draws your attention to.
Here are examples of HR quotes:
- “I will achieve all my goals without anyone’s support!”;
- “Because of your unnecessary opinion, my crown will never fall”;
- “I’ve passed a long time ago, but your boyfriend’s gaze is still on me,” and the like.
When a person’s motto is the phrase “Briefly about yourself: character is unbearable, opinion is indestructible, behavior is inadequate, love is uncontrollable,” we can already say that he will not compromise his opinion in a controversial situation.
You can easily meet a self-interested person on TikTok, LIKE, Facebook, when, when discussing some controversial issue, such people begin to insist on their own, argue excessively and humiliate others. They can also hint at your inadequacy: “She has become unbearable! Listens to the advice of morons. Talk to her, I beg you, I think she will listen to you!”
It is then that other, more adequate people stand up for people with low heart rate, who write approximately the following heart rate phrases on Instagram: “Your heart rate is too off the charts, urgently come down to earth!”, “You think you’re cool, in fact, you have zero heart rate.”
Some people strive to become a scumbag in the virtual world: a girl or a guy. This gives a certain self-confidence and self-affirmation. However, such confidence does not change for the better - it is a deception. Changing your life for the better begins with honesty, first of all with yourself. I’ve also seen girls deliberately present themselves this way so that they would be discussed and offended. Well, they don’t get enough attention in real life! Sadness...
Teenagers who are not yet confident in their achievements strive to imitate imaginary authorities: singers, actors, athletes. And sometimes, unfortunately, they choose the wrong people who really should. For example, a prominent representative of celebrities with CVS is Tony Routh, the lyrics of his songs are full of arrogance, a negative attitude towards others and life, hatred...
In philosophy
In the middle of the 20th century, the thinker, mystic, and esotericist Carlos Castaneda lived in the United States, who was the first to introduce this concept. He described FSA as a moral feeling of arrogance, elevation above something or someone, a noticeable identification of oneself as the most significant among others. His works are written in English, but this thinker has Russian-speaking followers.
Lurk[edit]
Classic Lurk gives a conservative description of the concept without reference to memes. At the very beginning of the article, everyone is warmly greeted by young Mitsgol (still without gray hair and the stupid Old Believer beard), then the information part comes. Cases are described in detail that are not manifestations of PWS (designated as PSN). The article is one of the oldest in the project, but in general it is thin in content, examples are poorly presented, there is no description of the varieties of ChSV, etc. The discussion page of an article can traditionally outshine the article, people are flooding it for all they're worth. You can find pearls of this kind:
Also, it’s worth finishing off that in this redneck contact of yours, as well as in general a little less than on all the idiotic sites of the Runet, there is a certain Einstein’s Riddle, which raises the subject’s FER by over 9000. The whole point is that this riddle is a rather pitiful sight for who know the hardware, and in less than half an hour, with a dull analysis on a piece of paper, even 95% of the population will solve it. And the riddle itself says that 98% of people will not be able to solve it, which greatly amuses the rednecks. A little more than everywhere else they multiply by zero the fact that Einstein envisioned solving a riddle in his mind in a short time, without using any information keepers other than his own brain. As a result, we see 95% who solved this problem with a dull analysis on a piece of paper, increasing their HR by over 9000. That’s it.
How to lift
Some bloggers argue that you should never get rid of your sense of self-importance. There is a grain of truth here if a teenage girl or boy has noticeably low self-esteem. They are precisely shown to raise their self-esteem, but not by neglecting others, but with the help of a psychologist to understand their strengths and believe in them.
Also, learning from a person who has walked this path will help you believe in yourself and achieve what exactly you want in this life. Under no circumstances should you listen to amateurs who shout at every corner: “Pay me and you’ll get rich!”
For me, such a person is Pavel Volya.
His online course “Improver Express” will teach 3 main things: initiative, action and efficiency.
The training consists of 23 chips. It was they who helped Volya turn from a simple beggar Penza guy into the highest paid presenter of the TNT channel and my favorite stand-up comedian.
The course is suitable for both men and women from 16 years of age.
How the training will take place:
- You receive theory and practical assignment.
- Do it.
- If you did it right, move on to the next one.
If you don’t mess around and do all your homework responsibly, then pleasant changes await you: at work, in your personal life, with relatives and friends. This will lead to more money, connections and success.
Cost – 15,000 rubles. with access forever, but there is also the opportunity to take the course for 3,000 rubles.
If within 2 weeks you decide that the course is not suitable for you, your money will be returned.
After registering for training, a girl from Pavel’s team will contact you and answer all your questions regarding the training. You will discuss payment terms with her.
Also in this article you will find reviews of all courses of the “Willpower” project from Pavel and Laysan Utyasheva.
A careless increase in heart rate is fraught with bad consequences. There is a danger of a teenager’s mental reaction – “the roof has been blown away.” This is when an insecure teenager goes to great lengths, trying to prove his worth. And what will we gain then? Nothing, we’ll only make it worse! Therefore, it is not necessary to increase the feeling of self-importance, but to make self-esteem adequate.

- Various film critics. Since all their reviews are nothing more than an expression of personal opinion from viewing, they often try to give themselves false importance.
- Socionicists, as well as lovers of other psychological studies. With the help of a simple theoretical basis and sophistry, they interpret the situation in such a way that only they are mentally healthy intuitive-logical geniuses. And they get very angry when such a wonderful idea is refuted by the same theory with the same sophisms.

How to lower heart rate
It’s not so easy to stop being a self-employed person. Firstly, a person must want to get rid of this feeling himself. Secondly, getting rid of this, you need to fill the vacated niche in self-awareness with something. By the way, it’s great to develop charismatic skills along with this, which will help you adequately assert yourself and earn respect.
Some, realizing their feeling of superiority over everyone, begin to practice stalking - avoiding the problem. But leaving is not the same as a solution. I give you three steps to help you overcome this feeling. In situations where your emotional distress manifests itself, do the following:
- Realize that after all, yes - it has come to you - you urgently want to tease someone, “push” someone and say something nasty in order to humiliate your interlocutor.
- Try to gently extinguish it by changing your thoughts to positive ones. Fix your attention on another object, person, change the vector of attention from yourself to external factors.
- Try to choose different words that would not offend others. For example, talk about the situation and its solution, and not about how stupid the person is and how smart you are.
In simple words, finally realize that the world does not revolve around you, but exists in parallel with its own laws, sensations and feelings, even when they do not coincide with yours.
