Why is the external world more important than the internal?
It should, firstly, be understood that a person’s inner world does not arise out of nowhere. The inner world is induced by the outer world, just as an electric current inside a conductor is induced by an external magnetic field. And a person who loses interest in the outside world does not enrich his inner world, but, on the contrary, impoverishes it.
Inner peace is a consequence of life experience. When faced with various life situations, a person receives different material for thinking and experiencing. But if there is no material, then there will simply be nothing to think about and worry about. A person who deprives himself of the external world will inevitably reach an internal dead end.
Further. It should be understood that being alive means first of all interacting with the outside world. In other words, if you do not interact with the outside world, then you are dead. This is exactly how people who refuse the outside world begin to feel - dead. Is there anything good about feeling like the living dead?
In fact, a person who renounces the outside world voluntarily becomes paralytic. He may have a perfectly healthy body - but he no longer uses it. He is like a paralyzed Stephen Hawking, with only the little finger on his left hand moving. But even Stephen Hawking, despite the tragedy of his situation, tries not to isolate himself from the world around him - as much as possible in his position. And people who sacrifice the outer world for the sake of the inner become greater paralytics than he is - despite the fact that they are physically absolutely healthy.
The inner world is, in fact, a surrogate for the outer one. After all, everything that is there is a reflection of the external world inside our mind. This surrogate in itself is not bad; the mind is a useful tool necessary for fruitful exploration and transformation of the external world. But this is precisely a tool for the outside world. And not at all a replacement for him.
The most interesting (and sad) thing is that adherents of the inner world are convinced that happiness can be achieved from within oneself. Although this is an absolute lie. A person feels happy only when he is useful in some matter outside of himself. Therefore, all these adherents remain consistently unhappy. And so they begin to delve into themselves even more quickly, hoping sooner or later to dig out this very happiness from the depths of themselves.
But they will never dig it up. Because to be happy means to be alive. And to be alive means to fully interact with the outside world.
And until you start interacting with the outside world, and not with the inside, you will never become happy.

Light of the Soul
Larisa : There is such a saying - “what is outside is also inside.” How true is this statement?
Alena : I see a picture with a big bird. A bird flies over me, wings spread wide. There are black and white spots on the wings. Light shines through the outstretched wing, through the wing feathers.
Just as a bird cannot hide the light of the Sun, so some people cannot hide their inner light. This light may be subtle, but it is still visible. And you, people, are able to see this light, are able to deduce from a person its inner content.
All people emit light from within, but this light is of different quality and content.
Larisa : Probably, not all people are able to perceive the inner world of other people, but how can this be determined by external factors? For example, when people have troubles, is it a consequence of their imbalance and incorrect worldview, or is there no such connection?
Alena : There is no such connection. You can't judge people like that. For a person who experiences unpleasant events, people who experience negativity created by circumstances, yes, this path through which the inner light comes out is clogged, it is barely noticeable, but this light is there .
Light may come from someone in a large stream, but this light will not be bright. And from someone the light comes in a thin stream, but at the same time it will be bright and concentrated.
It's like the sound of a bell. Or you can hit a metal object, and one object will sound very loud and ringing, while the other object will make a dull and low sound.
Larisa : What does the emitted light depend on? Can it be increased or changed?
Alena : Yes, the light can change. Sometimes the changes take years, and sometimes the light changes in a matter of minutes. It depends on emotions, on the inner ego of a person.
Those people who work on their transformation, who keep their emotional plane in a positive direction, who radiate love - pure and concentrated light emanates from these people.
Larisa : The terms “channels” and “channel cleaning” are often used; can such practices affect a person’s inner light?
Alena : They can, but this is different. These practices cannot affect a person’s inner world. There must be an internal transformation. No amount of practice can make our thoughts purer.
The story of Shinnok - one of the elder gods
Meanwhile, we will return to our 6 elder gods - as it turns out, even among them there is no unity. The elder god named Shinnok wanted more power and he went against all the established laws. He really liked the Earthly Kingdom and wanted to take possession of it.
Shinnok is one of the elder gods of the Mortal Kombat universe
In order to accomplish his deed undetected, Shinnok used a large amount of his power and created a medallion of great power , thanks to this talisman, he was able to pass through the barrier of the Mortal Kombat tournament rules and invaded the earth without the required 10 victories in Mortal Kombat, and also completely undetected by the elders gods.
Then the protector of the earth, the younger god Raiden, intervened in what was happening: he discovered Shinnok and found out that he draws his unusual power from a magical amulet.
Raiden understood that without this amulet he had no chance to resist the elder god, and therefore the first thing he did was deprive Shinnok of his main weapon. After this, an incredible battle broke out on earth between Shinnok and Raiden, and the power that was released during their confrontation destroyed a huge part of life in the Earthly Realm, and only after that the rest of the elder gods intervened in history.
They helped Raiden defeat Shinnok and then all together imprisoned the rebel in the Underworld. The earthly kingdom survived on the brink of destruction; dark times came on the planet, from which Raiden himself helped people emerge.
Unfortunately, he could not completely kill Shinnok, just as he could not completely destroy his amulet, so Raiden hid the powerful artifact deep in the mountains of Asia.
Over the place of his burial, he erected the Temple of the Elements , where he appointed guards of the elementals of the earth of fire and water, as well as the god of air Fujin . Each of them personified the first element from which the Earth was created and possessed great power.
Temple of the Elements, which housed Shinnok's powerful amulet
Goro's winning streak in Mortal Kombat
So, after such a slap in the face, Shao Kahn, of course, did not stop, he only became more inflamed with hatred for the Earthly Kingdom and people. The emperor continued the tournament and started all over again, only now his main champion was already a powerful four-armed giant from the Shokan clan named Goro .
The sorcerer Shang Tsung got a chance to atone for his failure - he eliminated one of the grandmasters, sort of the arbiters of the Mortal Kombat tournament, and quite cleverly managed to win the trust of the other two, so he soon took the place of the grandmaster he had killed. So Shao Kahn got his own man who makes decisions about the rules of Mortal Kombat and this was very useful, because at the very next tournament Goro, with the help of Shang Tsung, killed the Great Kung Lao and began his winning streak in Mortal Kombat competitions.
Goro is the second Mortal Kombat champion after Shang Tsung, who also only won 9 victories in a row.
The era of dominance of the Outworld warriors began again - Goro won 8 more victories in a row at the Mortal Kombat competition, and Shang Tsung gradually eliminated the other two arbiters of the tournament, remaining the only one who could dictate the rules of the competition.
The option was almost a win-win, there was only one victory left before the hordes of Shao Kahn would move to Earth. The 1995 film Mortal Kombat begins at this point, but we are getting ahead of ourselves a little.
Evolution of the Creator
This entire film is an explanation of the evolution of life forms, which ends in the entire universe and the process of evolution (not form), that is, Consciousness, begins.
We decided to miss the process and go straight to the Source through the external worlds of awareness, as if to look beyond its limits, without losing the form of manifestation. To emerge into Absolute Reality not in the form of Pure Consciousness (Krishna), but in the form of the Body of Truth, becoming the eternal Creator of Creation and not without a personal one, but as a Manifested Creator.
Moreover, no matter how many of us penetrate beyond the Source, there will be so many Manifested Creators. Let me note that the Manifested Creator is the one who exceeds the power of the Father (the Primordial Creator) billions of times and this can only be achieved through human incarnation and the creation of a Universal pair, as a symbol of the combination of the male and female Principles.
This process can also be characterized as a transition from spiral development to fractal impulsive development, taking into account divine symmetry (Golden Section), from holographic to substantial. But we will talk about this after the complete transition to Absolute Reality.
Those who are not ready for such a transition will inevitably transition, but in the form of other forms of life that are harmonious with their level of consciousness. These can be animals, plants and even minerals.
How internal reality predetermines external reality
As a rule, the focus of a person’s attention is aimed at the external reality, and the internal one, as it were, is not noticed and goes to the last position. But, as you yourself already understood from what was written above, it is internal reality that is key - it determines the quality of our life, that is, it is an indicator of whether we are satisfied with our life or not.
For example, one woman’s husband leaves her. She suffers, tries in every possible way to get him back, begins to humiliate herself, she feels very bad, she “neglects” on herself, her children, her work, etc. She finds her salvation in alcohol.
This is due to the fact that internal filters interpreted the event of external reality - the departure of the husband, as something bad, and thus launched the corresponding process.
A similar situation, but with another woman. Her “filters” identified her husband’s departure as something not very good, but not critical.
Yes, she was not pleased, hurt, hurt, etc. But the interpretation, as the discovery of new opportunities and a new, different life, launched the following process: she took care of herself, began going to the gym, meeting with friends more often (since she had free time, which she had previously devoted to her husband), began to implement a hobby , for which there was no time before, and more.
That is, she filled her reality with something productive, something that began to give her positive emotions.
You see, absolutely identical situations - but diametrically different external reality.
Another example is perfect: when a girl is dissatisfied with her appearance and directs all her strength and financial capabilities to making herself ideal. From her point of view, ideal appearance is the key to a happy life.
But in fact, her life turns into an endless process of self-improvement. At the beginning, let’s say, she does a nose job, then lip correction, then…. in general, as you understand, having remade one thing in herself, she proceeds to another, because the feeling of satisfaction with herself never comes.
- Essentially, we are talking about projection as a psychological defense mechanism. If you are interested in psychology, then this term from psychoanalysis is very familiar to you. When projecting, an individual tends to attribute his own thoughts, motives, feelings, etc. to someone or something.
This psychological defense mechanism helps the individual not to feel responsible for his unacceptable motives, feelings and desires.
Let’s say, going out into the yard in the morning and seeing parked foreign cars, a person can angrily say: “We bought cars! It’s impossible to get through.” And so every day.
With a high probability, we can talk about his dissatisfaction with his own life, and on the basis of this - envy of others. And instead of turning to the internal one and holding a “meeting” with it, during which the true causes of dissatisfaction will be established and an algorithm will be drawn up on what needs to be done to eliminate them, the person again and again begins to blame and be angry with others.
External reality seems unfair and deplorable to him.

Interiorization and exteriorization
In human activity, the external (physical) and internal (mental) sides are inseparable. The external side - the movements through which a person acts in the external world - is determined and regulated by internal (mental) activity: motivational, cognitive and regulatory. On the other hand, all this internal (mental) activity is directed and controlled by external activity, which reveals the properties of things and processes, carries out their purposeful transformations, reveals the degree of adequacy of mental models, as well as the degree of compliance of achieved results and actions with expectations.
The processes that ensure the relationship between internal and external activities are called internationalization and exteriorization.
Internationalization (from the Latin interior - inside) - the transition from external to internal; a psychological term meaning the formation of mental actions and the internal plane of consciousness through the individual’s assimilation of external actions with objects and social forms of communication. Internationalization is not a simple transfer of external actions to the internal level of consciousness, but the formation of this consciousness itself.
Thanks to internalization, the human psyche acquires the ability to operate with images of objects that are currently not included in its field of vision. People go beyond the present moment, freely moving “in their heads” into the past and future, in time and space.
Animals do not have this ability; they cannot arbitrarily go beyond the current situation. The word serves as an important tool for internalization, and verbal action is a means of voluntary transition from one situation to another. The word emphasizes and consolidates within itself the basic qualities of things and ways of handling information that were developed based on the practice of mankind. Human action no longer depends on the situation given from the outside, which determines all animal behavior.
It is clear that the ability to use words correctly is at the same time the ability to master the basic qualities of things and the way of handling information. With the help of words, a person assimilates the experience of all humanity, that is, tens and hundreds of previous generations, as well as people and groups located hundreds and thousands of kilometers away from him.
Exteriorization (from the Latin exterior - outside) is the opposite process of interiorization, it is a transition from the inside to the outside. A psychological term relating to the transition of actions from an internal and coagulated form to a form of expanded action. Examples of exteriorization: objectification of our perception, creation of an object according to a pre-thought-out plan.
Activities can be carried out in various ways and methods. Mastering a set of techniques that provide the ability to successfully perform a specific activity is called a skill. This implies the presence of knowledge and its skillful application in activities. Skills allow us to choose certain ways of acting in the context of certain conditions. It can be formed on the basis of a template, that is, simply imitating the actions of others (in early childhood). The main way to develop skills is through special training. Here, the more successful the learning process, the more intertwined demonstration and explanation are.
The Great Kung Lao and Shang Tsung
After a brief excursion into the history of what the ancient gods were doing, let's return to Shao Kahn and his ambitions as a conqueror.
With each new annexed world, these same ambitions only grew, and several millennia have passed since the victory over Edenia, and the Earth Kingdom was next in line.
The Emperor of the Outer World claimed it and began the Mortal Kombat tournament against the best fighters on Earth. He thought that it would be as easy as in the case of the capture of Edenia, but here he miscalculated, although at first everything went like clockwork.
To begin with, Shao Kahn enlisted the support of a powerful sorcerer from Earth named Shang Tsung (Shang Tsung) and made him his champion - 9 of the first ten victories were for Shang Tsung and not a single champion of Earth could resist him. The last step remained, the time had come for the 10th battle and then Raiden got down to business - he himself could not participate in the tournament on behalf of the Earth, but realizing that the human world was on the brink of an abyss, he made the only right decision - Raiden himself created the secret society of the White Lotus , where he recruited the best fighters from all over the planet.
Through 50 long years of training, he trained the most talented and persistent among them, the one who could defeat Shang Tsung - a fighter named the Great Kung Lao (Kung Lao).
The Great Kung Lao is the first savior of the Earth Kingdom, who interrupted Shang Tsung's 10th victory in the Mortal Kombat tournament
And so, at the tenth tournament, he defeated Shang Tsung in a personal duel, won the tournament and became the champion of Mortal Kombat, which plunged Shao Kahn and the entire army of the Outer World into impotent rage.
It is interesting that at Mortal Kombat it was customary to kill your opponents, but the Great Kung Lao brought a drop of mercy to Mortal Kombat - he spared Shang Tsung and did not kill the sorcerer.
I'm cold when I'm hot. Antiluminescence argument
Suppose there is a snake lying in front of me - is it an illusion or reality? I may be wrong about this and confuse the snake with a rope. But I cannot confuse the feeling of pain with anything: if I feel pain, then it is there.
In this regard, it is worth discussing the antiluminescence argument of the already mentioned Timothy Williamson.
We are convinced that our states of consciousness are obvious to us - as if they are “highlighted.” For example, if I experience pain, then I know that I am experiencing it and what exactly this sensation is. In other words, if I have some kind of conscious state, then I am always aware of it.
But Williamson has an argument against this "glow" of consciousness. At first glance, this argument is paradoxical and similar in spirit to the famous aporia of Achilles and the tortoise, which is intended to prove the impossibility of movement, although all our experience says the opposite. Williamson suggests imagining that you are cold and gradually getting warmer. Every millisecond the change is so small that you can't register it. If we report from millisecond to millisecond, then every time you will have to say that you are cold, because it is impossible to detect such a slight warming. But at the end of a certain period of time (let's say it's five minutes), the temperature will change so much that you will already feel hot. If I believe that consciousness “glows,” then I will have to assert absurd things: for example, that I am cold when I am hot. Williamson's argument here is much stronger than empirical arguments for the reason that it attacks precisely the very certainty of consciousness.
What does “rich inner world” mean?
A person with a rich inner world is distinguished by a number of important qualities:
- he easily finds a common language with others and is an interesting interlocutor;
- can easily justify the expressed opinion;
- has a wide range of different feelings;
- not afraid of loneliness.
Such individuals are able to sense the versatility of a person’s inherent emotional experiences; they can recognize and analyze their emotions, correctly distributing them depending on external manifestations. In contrast, a person with a poor inner universe experiences only a limited number of emotions, for example, joy or sadness, anger or serenity.
