What is kindness? Each of us has thought about this question at least once in our lives. Kindness is a feeling of compassion for such a being. This is often accompanied by sacrifice for others and selflessness. In other words, when a person does not know how to refuse or say “no” correctly, for some this is accompanied by a feeling of pity, for others the level of meaning and self-affirmation increases due to good deeds. Kindness can be selfless and pure. Although this is becoming less and less common these days. In general, kindness is different for everyone, but it is aimed at the main goal: to help another person.
The kindest man
Who is he? And are there such people in our society today? The kindest person... Some people are sometimes called that. This is the characteristic of a benefactor who helps others and asks for nothing in return. Of course, for others to react this way, you need to do a lot of good deeds and help more than one person. However, words of gratitude and happy eyes from people are worth helping someone in need if it matches our abilities. Such actions give strength, energize and inspire.
Expression of feelings in life
Virtue can come in different forms. Some individuals are able to constantly help absolutely everyone around them, from relatives to small insects. Others specifically wait for the moment when they are asked to do so. Of course, everyone has the right to choose what to do. A kind person never thinks; he simply helps automatically, without prioritizing his personal interests.
Kindness can be shown:
- in actions - it is expressed in the action of the individual: while helping, she sometimes does not even ask the person in need if he needs help;
- in support - sometimes a person needs informational help. Wise advice and support in the form of useful, friendly recommendations help solve a difficult situation;
- in selflessness - the manifestation of gratuitous assistance.
There is no need to confuse selflessness and self-interest. The first is a sincere feeling that does not require anything in return. The second is a mutually beneficial relationship.
When people agree in advance on a service, the provision of which will be followed by promised gratitude in any form. It should be noted that when drawing up such an agreement, both parties are satisfied. Today this type of mutual assistance is very common. It can be observed in the medical, educational, and educational spheres.
What can you do to become kinder?
From the moment of birth, a child is pure and innocent, kind to everyone around him, and only education, the example of his parents and the attitude of his loved ones towards him make him good or bad.
In addition, the child grows, his character and attitude towards his parents and others are formed. And in the process of becoming a person, such a quality as kindness or the absence of this character trait appears.
The mistake many people make is that they think that a character cannot be changed. People say: “The grave will decide the hunchback.” However, it is not. You cannot change temperament because we are born with it, but character can always be changed. And therefore, if a person does not show kindness towards another living being, he should not be blamed. There are several reasons for this. Perhaps he himself does not know how to help himself with this, how to become a kind person.
To improve a little, you need to understand yourself, understand what makes you, for example, angry, aggressive, hostile, envious. Sometimes this is very difficult to do, because “you can’t find a speck in your eyes.”
For example, many are angry about their financial situation, their constantly drinking spouse, problems with their child or health, envy of another person, and so on. Having understood yourself, you need to resolve this or that situation. If you have financial problems - change jobs, separate from your husband who drinks, break up with your child - improve your relationship and understand his behavior, your health can be improved by going on vacation, for example. Of course, it seems easy, but in reality it is much more difficult, but each of us can do it. You may need the help of a specialist, but this is all for your own good.
“What is kindness” - essay
Kindness, in my opinion, is the highest dignity of a person, without which he is only a living being, devoid of the main quality - mercy, compassion.
In support of what has been said, I will take sentences 28–39 from the story of the Russian Soviet writer and playwright E. Yu. Shim. This fragment tells how Verka, having learned that her friend Lisapeta wanted to make fun of her classmate Zheka, who was sending letters to Lizka Rakitina, stood up for him.
Verka explained that he, Zheka, most likely sent Rakitina “postcards of her favorite characters,” because she has poor vision and she wants to remember the faces of her favorite actors. So she helped her classmate understand: you shouldn’t laugh at seemingly strange actions without knowing their reasons...
The second argument in favor of my opinion will be given from life. One evening, while walking home from work, my grandfather heard a pathetic, drawn-out bark coming from somewhere in the bushes. As he came closer, he saw a small dog without a collar, bleeding from its hind leg. The grandfather, without a moment’s hesitation, carefully picked him up and carried him home.
The grandmother, being a veterinarian, examined the dog, treated the wound and said that there was no reason to worry, since the blood was coming from the fact that the dog stepped on something sharp and cut himself a little. So the puppy lived with us for several days, and then the grandfather took him to his friend, who had long been looking for a dog with which he could go hunting.
Consequently, I proved that kindness is based on love for the world around us, which makes it possible to feel the suffering of not only people, but also animals, understand their pain and respond to it.

They say that everything in life comes back like a boomerang, so a kind person always receives only good deeds in exchange for his deeds. Don't give in to temptation and self-interest by doing something bad. We need to think wisely and understand that everything will definitely come back.
What is good and who is a good person?
Our lives are filled with meaning when we notice the good and can truly appreciate it rather than take it for granted. The dull human existence becomes much brighter if we know how to selflessly do good to people.
The main thing is that it comes from a pure heart and always brings you joy. That is, doing good is a desire of the soul, and not just because “it’s necessary.”
From this article you will learn what goodness is and who a good person is. When is good considered true good and not greed? What to do so that your kindness brings you peace of mind, joy and tranquility.
What is good?
In esoteric terms:
Good is all that good that corresponds to the ideals of the Creator. This is what He calls people to do. For example, philanthropy, justice, beauty, development, peace, harmony, freedom, orderliness and creation. And also this forgiveness and mercy, faith in the best, faith in the person himself. In a word, these are pleasant things and emotions.
Types of Kindness
Kindness comes in different ways. It manifests itself in different ways. Someone is kind enough not to offend a fly, but usually many take advantage of the simplicity of these people and give nothing in return. Such a person sometimes does not offer help, but if someone asks, he will not refuse.
There is kindness that shows in actions. Especially if it is a blessing, that is, if a person does a good deed when he is not asked, but he needs it.
There is kindness that manifests itself in a loving word, wise advice. There is always a wonderful environment around these people as the problems are endless and good and wise advice is often required to help them through their tribulations.
Selfless kindness means helping another person. At the same time, they do not ask for anything in return for their action. These people are called selfless. Such kindness is becoming rare in modern life, even among family and friends.
Selfish kindness follows selfless help. It doesn't have to be bad. For example, one person turned to another for help, promising to thank him in return. This is a mutually beneficial relationship with which both parties are generally satisfied. This format of communication is not uncommon nowadays. This pattern of behavior manifests itself in all areas of life: in kindergarten, educational institution, medical institution and others.
What a kind person he is
Thinking about the topic of the essay, the first person I remembered was my mother. She is truly a very kind and sincere person. I will try to explain who, in my understanding, can be called a kind person and how this golden quality is manifested.
Unfortunately, we live in a time when kindness and sincerity are not particularly valued by society. More and more often we are faced with cruelty and bad deeds of people. But in our time, not all is lost. There remain people who will always come in difficult times and lend a helping hand to those in need. I'll tell you with an example.
As I wrote above, my mother is the personification of true kindness. I never heard a rude word from her. She is always gentle with her loved ones and happily shows concern for my sister, me and dad. In relation to others, she is also open and sincere. I have never seen her refuse to help anyone.
Mom often looks after the neighbor's children. A young woman lives in the next apartment. It so happens that she has to raise twins without a father. Mom sees how hard it is for her and often offers her help and lets her neighbor go on errands. And at this time she looks after and plays with the children, reads them fairy tales and prepares delicious pancakes, which the children are crazy about.
When I'm at home, I also help my mother. This kind deed brings not only benefits, but also a lot of joy. And what delicious pies mom makes. The divine aroma permeates the entire apartment. Mom is never greedy and treats her neighbors to her pies.
For this kind gesture, everyone loves her and gladly comes to visit her for tea, and at the same time for heart-to-heart conversations. Mom will always listen and if someone has a problem or trouble, she will happily provide help and support the person morally. I have never seen her refuse anyone. Not every person can boast of the qualities that my mother possesses.
Her kindness also extends to loving animals. I believe that caring for our little brothers deserves special respect. Many people throw their pets out into the street, but my mother, on the contrary, has already taken five cats from the street. She washed them and fattened them.
Mom placed three lucky ones in good hands, and left two at our home. You should have seen how beautiful the cats have become. And their love for their mother is truly sincere and devoted.
Drawing a conclusion, we can say that a kind person is a person with a pure and bright soul. Through his actions, he cares about those around him and brings benefit and joy to society. If there were more kind people in our world, life would be much easier and happier.
